CARWIN – reliability thanks to modern control technique CARWIN, C omputer A ided R olling under MS- WIN DOWS, is the control system of our radial and radial-axial ring rolling machines type RW and RAW which works together with the CNC system of the ring rolling machine in order to achieve fully automatic rolling processes and the efficient production of rings of consistently high quality at a high level of cost-effectiveness. Each rolling process can be exactly programmed to the specific characteristics of the ring to be manufactured. Thanks to its open architecture, it is possible to implement newly developed modules later on at any point of time which permits to maintain a state-of-the-art machine control. This technology software goes one essential step further than CARWIN: it ensures the determination of the optimum production process from the block up to the rolled ring / wheel / flange / profile by considering all capacity limits of the machine, furthermore the simulation of processes as well as the generation and transfer of NC-data to the machine control. This system offers you the great advantage to plan your entire ring / wheel production process starting from the input material up to the finish-rolled product on a computer.
